Manos Vafeiadis is Greece Musician ...he well know on instrument of Greece Drama and Mazoo and the Zoo (Soundtrack Film Album) is top ten Best Seller on IMDb.

He really deserves to be mentioned in an own topic: The composer Manos Vafeiadis (Μάνος Βαφειάδης).

He wrote the music for a TV- serial and this music is published on CD too. Unfortunately it consists only of 3 songs (the rest are instrumental pieces). But these 3 songs are phantastic!! Better than anything that today is usually presented as "Greek music of quality".

I do not know if they became popular in Greece (if yes, I assume that it has to do with their presentation in a TV program). Anyway, I think that the composer is more or less completely unknown. And obviously he did not get until now the possibility to make a whole record with some famous singer. (In his discography apart from this CD I can only find some other productions for TV and for children and a record with instrumental music.)

Listening to the songs, once more I see confirmed my conviction that today the really good Greek music and their composers are usually ignored.
